Wikipedia is claiming the plantation of Flowerdew Hundred Plantation to have been patented by George Yeardley then named by George after his father-in-law then another plantation named after his mother-in-law, yet also claiming the plantation existed and was planted by his father-in-law.
This article neglected to include facts regarding the inheritable rights of the children of George Yeardley and Temperance Flowerdew which I have added more detail of Elizabeth Yeardley West
The Flowerdew Hundred Plantation has been in the possession of the Governor of West Virginia, who just recently sold the place in 2017, likely learning I was pursing the genealogical aspect of my family which defined rights to inherit the Flowerdew Hundred Plantation as a descendant of the daughter Elizabeth Yeardley.
