Is that you knockin'?

I live at 20th and Hughitt in Superior Wisconsin.

The weather is beautiful this morning. It was really quite outside in the dark morning as I took the dog out for his morning pee about 5:45 a.m. 11/27/2022.

Nokky's little paws in the leafy grass disturbing the morning air.

As he was finishing peeing and turned to look north scrapping his paws on the grass, he looked out over 20th street. The neighbor's garage light came on, just as a 'knock' echoed quietly not to far away -maybe half a block or so. Nokky was sniffing the air and staring looking for something.

Then you know that creepy feeling you get when the air around you isn't normal, like when the hair on the back of your neck starts to stand up and caution you and you either want to stare more into the dark or walk to see, but instead determine to turn and 'run' or at the very least go back inside.

I turned Nokky to go back inside feeling something was waiting for me to do this.

Hi Jodi,

For the past week there has been an odd feeling hanging in the air.

The Old Farmer predicted more snow and cold this year but the weather

has been mild - red skies in the mornings and red skies in the evenings, too.

Sorry that Sasha and I missed you this past summer. We have seen

very large eagles, swans, and lots of smaller birds migrating. We heard owls

hooting near the house. Rain made the vegetation grow lush and green.

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. We are staying close to home

to avoid getting caught in storms. Sasha is old and sleeps a lot.

Be careful, Sandy
