John Jakob Fugger Burns and the 'Three Brothers'

Updated: Nov 27, 2022

I came upon this link for John Jakob Fugger Burns. the burning of the promissory note of Emperor Charles V to the Fugger Merchant.

In my attempt to discern if there is a connection to this John Jakob Fugger Burns and my grandfather, Albert Ray Burns family, who by certain genealogical accounts, it does appear Albert and his family directly descend from Scotland, though where they appear in Scotland arriving to the colonies is unknown to me at this writing, but this highlighted link does give a suggestion that there is Burns associated to the Wealthy Fugger Merchants and Emperor Charles V

Then in the reviewing of the articles on Wikipedia I came upon this item of interest associated King James I, Stewart and the Fugger Merchants and the 'Three Brothers' jewel worn by King James I, Stewart and other monarchs.

Add (11/27/2022): The tag line of the article reads without a coma, John Jakob Fugger...'Burns the promissory note of Emperor Charles V'...
