My mother told me when I was very young, she was 'raped' as a child living with someone an older boy. This occurred while her father was gone working.
She stated this was a reason she and her siblings ended up with Mable Bighley (?) whom her father eventually married.
I have not figured out the whole path of my mother and her siblings life after their mother died, but this is one residence that came up and my mother did state she was living in several residence, one of them a farm with a barn where they played musical instruments, i.e. had barn dances.
