Red Collars & Red Leashes - communicates what?!

Who the hell is making this shit up?

I go to Wal-mart, or some other pet store, I'm resigned to Wal-mart right now, but there I am looking for a new dog collar or leash and there are few color options for collars or leashes. Red, blue, maybe fluorescent orange, which I do not like.

I preferred red on the dog I have right now. In the past, I had an option to buy a huge dog collar for our big black lab, St. Bernard mix, it was black, with turquoise beads on it.

I see people with spiked collars on their dogs, and get nervous, but I remember they are attempting to make their dog look cool or protect their dogs neck if an encounter with another dog occurs.

Har-humpf! Red looks great on Nokky who is sweet and loving and not a dangerous doggie woggie.
