I used to think they were not only singing about Marvin Gaye, but maybe my father.
I consider the moves made by performers, i.e. actors, musicians, lay people, professional who would learn about my parents over the de facto reign of Elizabeth II Mountbatten the past sixty-seven years, and they knew my parents, and me and the rights we had to the massive land masses, structures, estates and revenues, and firstly maybe feared their own existence, slowly they determined the real true nature of the future.
This is a beautiful song and gives me courage.
