Imagine knowing all your life you have ancestry that is associated to Elizabeth II, and Windsor Castle & Buckingham Castle, but are told, "If you can't prove it, keep your big mouth shut!", or "You'll never see this, not if I have anything to say about it!", and "It is for Linda or Lori, or Donnie, not you!"
Imagine being fifty-three years old, far from home, far from your family, far from the love you used to know; imagine being affected so negatively in the community you decided to complete your education in, to live, and make a place to call home, that the only thing you do to figure out the why of it, is turn to researching your genealogy, then discover...
...so I made the claim to the Castle Stirling, and the Crown of Scotland, managed to get pretty far in my degree process, and my genealogy is exposed by me and many others, so it is with confidence, I look upon this scene and consider how many places my parents who are now aged and less sure, one possibly in the grave, but maybe not, used in a political ruse, a game of escapism, but imagine being being, looking upon this simple scene of games on the lawn of Stirling Castle, my place, the place I claimed with all rights.
My parents took me to events, and the outdoors to learn of life for this very experience. I am grateful to have known that which they taught me, but I just can't sit by and not claim the Crown of Scotland for myself and my family, knowing all that I know now!
Let the games begin!
