I am reorganizing my emails filing them in folders and subfolders.
I just came upon this conversation transcript between my mother, my half-sibling, Don and me regarding the Septic Tank when I was living on County Road 43, in Willow River Minnesota.
It is sad and funny. The heartbreak I am experiencing with my family and our separation for reason's that are still unclear to me right now, but then the funny part of this email dialogue it is making me smile...,
...when my now ex-husband and I first met, I was restricted to waiting to date until I was 16.
I was home at 949 Dodd Road, West St. Paul, Minnesota watching t.v. with my mom and her friend Mary Stanek. Mom and Mary met when they worked for Marsden Maintenance in St. Paul, MN, they worked together and became fast friends.
Well, Joe wanted to see me and I asked my mom if he could watch television with us, the movie on that night was, "The Grass is Always Greener Over the Septic Tank" (1978).
My mom said yes, so there was Joe, seventeen years old and me fifteen sitting with two 'big' 'ole women, my mom and Mary watching over us as we watched this movie. I remember feeling 'scrunchie' 'funny' but what a memory right now, I am smiling.
Then after I lost my home in St. Paul, Minnesota, I ended up in Willow River renting an old farm house on 160-acres about four miles out of the small town. I enjoyed most everything about it except this and well the fleas and ticks I ended up with the summer of 2012.
Finally, after a great amount of effort to empty this naturally, the landlord came to pump it. Never knew anything like this in my life! Whew!
